Claudia — Provisional Psychologist
Claudia completed her Bachelor degree in Behavioural Science (Psychology) and Justice (Criminology and Policing) at the Queensland University of Technology. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University.
She has undertaken training in Applied Behaviour Analysis whilst working as a Behaviour Therapist with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Claudia has experience working with people across the lifespan with a variety of concerns including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- School related issues (including friendship)
- Social skills training
Claudia has a particular interest in the gut-brain connection and how physical exercise and nutrition can positively impact mental health. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going for long runs and spending time at the beach with her family and friends.
She is extremely passionate about improving clients’ well being and supporting them to improve their quality of life. She uses an eclectic approach of evidence-based interventions that are tailored to the clients’ individual needs.
Claudia is currently a provisional psychologist and is working with senior psychologists Adam Hashish and Elizabeth Johnson to achieve full registration.
